Offshore Tuna Fishing

Islamorada Tuna Fishing Charters

Fish the Islamorada Humps and Deep Structure

Run Offshore for Hard-Fighting Blackfin Tuna Fishing in the Florida Keys

Tuna fishing out of Islamorada is all about power and speed. We run offshore to the famous humps and deep-water structure where blackfin tuna stack up, feeding hard on bait schools. When they are on top, the ocean comes alive with birds diving, bait spraying, and tuna cutting through the surface. When they are deeper, we use live bait, chunking, or jigs to get down to them. Either way, when a tuna eats, the rod loads up and the drag goes to work. It is true offshore action and a serious test for any angler.

The Islamorada humps are known throughout the Keys for producing strong, hard-pulling blackfin tuna. We time the run with conditions, set up over the structure, and work the bait until the bite starts. Some days they are busting on top, other days they are marking deep, but when it happens, it can turn into fast, controlled chaos with multiple fish on at once. This is real offshore fishing, the kind that makes you lean into the harness and earn every inch of line back.
